WILLIAM C. GRAHAM
William C. Graham is a priest from northern Minnesota. He has been a high school teacher, pastor, and professor. He founded the Master of Arts Program in Pastoral Ministry at Caldwell University in New Jersey, was Theology and Religious Studies chair at Lewis University in Chicagoland, and was the founding director of the Catholic Studies program at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. He holds the Ph.D. from Fordham, the Jesuit University of New York City. He has written a number of books and articles. His first novel, Beneath the Pond Scum, will be published in 2026. He is currently a Florida guy.

Beneath the Pond Scum is a hilarious allegorical novel of good vs. evil.
It is the first novel by prolific author William C. Graham, a seventy-five-year-old retired Catholic priest.
Graham writes in the style of Kurt Vonnegut, Joseph Heller, George Orwell, Percival Everett, and other great satirists.
The Story:
There are good guys. There are bad guys.
The good guys eventually win, but they are seriously hurt in the process.
The bad guys survive and continue to break things.
The Style:
It is very funny. It is deadly serious.
There are heroes. There is some redemption.
There is no reconciliation.
The Setting:
The novel is set in mythical northern Minnesota.
It is about what is going on in the world right now.
