I’m currently reading Savoring Awe, by Tim Diebel, a Texan, a retired minister and musician, who moved to a Warren County, Iowa, farm with his wife to learn to grow food and savor awe. If his farming is as productive as his writing is awe-inviting, I’d like to join them for dinner.
 

I’m not racing through the book, but savoring it slowly some minutes a day, enjoying the prayerful reverie into which his ruminations call me. The spiritually adventurous will, I think, appreciate his twelve chapters that include stories, quotes from other wonderers, with questions for reflection and discussion.
